GLASS AND CRYSTAL
Hamlin’s Restoration does not use grinding techniques and therefore does not remove chips from the rims of standard stemware. However, if the item is broken or has a missing segment, we can repair it. Murano and other decorative glassware and crystal can be repaired and missing areas filled and hand-polished. Keep in mind that most crystal cannot be invisibly restored due to the transparency of the material. However, we have had the pleasure of restoring a gallery-owned piece of Chihuly artglass with totally invisible results.
